On the 14th of June, a Flag Day ceremony was organized at the Northville Brookdale Senior Living facility by the 1st District American Legion visiting team and the Post 32 Honor Guard. This event was particularly meaningful as Brookdale is home to a veterans club comprised of Korean War veterans and the spouses of veterans. During the ceremony, the praised Post 32 Honor Guard demonstrated the formal American Flag folding and raised a new American Flag for Brookdale, adding to the significance and solemnity of the occasion. Brookdale was also presented with an American Legion Appreciation Certificate for flying the American Flag.
