Grouper Partners with The American Legion Family

Grouper Partners with The Legion Family to Reimburse Renewal Dues and More!

Post Leader,

Please share this with your Members, as it can save and make them money!

As the Department commences its membership renewal season next month, I wanted to make sure you know about the American Legion Family's recent partnership with Grouper and how Grouper's benefit provides eligible members reimbursement for renewal.

Grouper provides benefits to Legionnaires, Auxiliary, and Sons of the American Legion, aged 65 and older, to stay active in their communities. For Legion Family members with a Medicare Advantage plan that includes a RenewActive or OnePass benefit, annual dues with American Legion are covered. Once you enroll and your eligibility is confirmed, Grouper will send you a check for $50.

Additionally, if you continue to stay active in American Legion activities - such as American Legion Riders, volunteering to support youth or homeless vets, or even just socializing with friends at the post - Grouper will send you a $20 social wellness payment every three months.

You can redeem your benefits by clicking here

As we know, staying socially active in group activities has proven health benefits and is critical for veterans who have above-average risks of social isolation and depression. Please encourage your membership to embrace this unique opportunity.

Thank you,

Dan Cooper, Department Commander

The American Legion Department of Michigan
