| Good Afternoon MI Legionnaires, Post, and SAL Commanders & Adjutants,
Here is the March edition of the Good of the Legion. It is packed with program information and deadline dates, so read it and pass it along to your members.
I will be doing a Post & SAL Squadron mailing next week containing information on Boys/Girls State, Student Trooper, Skilled Trades Scholarship, and Teacher of the Year. I will also include an order form for your Post/Squadron to complete and return to me if you want program materials.
Special Note: There is a rumor that Michigan American Legion Class A Baseball has been eliminated/canceled for 2025. This is NOT TRUE. We have both Class A and Class AA tournaments scheduled this year. If you have questions about American Legion Baseball, please reach out to your Zone Baseball Chair, the Department Baseball Chairman, or me to ensure you are getting the most current and accurate information. The baseball website (michiganlegion.org/baseball) has been updated, and you can find contact information for your District chairman as well as the entire Baseball Committee in the Michigan Rule Book located under resources.
