Members of Post 32, Post 32 Riders, and the Post 32 Honor Guard had the honor of celebrating the 101st birthday of Frank Wojar, a distinguished WWII veteran residing at Brookdale Assisted Living in Northville. The atmosphere was filled with joy and camaraderie as we presented Frank with a heartfelt birthday card and an American Legion Honor certificate. Additionally, Frank received a U.S. Army pin to commemorate his service as a tank crew member during WWII. The Post 32 Honor Guard performed a 13-flag fold ceremony and fired a 21-gun salute. The event served as a wonderful reminder of the positive impact we can have on the lives of our cherished veterans.
