WWII Memorial Escort Ride

 World War II Memorial:

The VFW District 4 Riders Group and American Legion Riders Post 32 participated in a memorial service on April 22, 2024, for James A. Brosko, a WWII Veteran. Mr. Brosko served in World War II and was among the soldiers who landed on Normandy Beach on D-Day. He survived to fight in Europe and Africa before returning home after 2.5 years of service. The Patriot Guard Riders stood a flag line during the ceremony. The Riders Group met at the Turowski Funeral Home at 25509 Warren St, Dearborn Heights, MI.

Along with the Post 32 Legion Riders, they accompanied the motorcycle transporting Mr. Brosko's remains to the cemetery as an escort. At St. Hedwig, a military ceremony took place, and the Honor Guard from American Legion Post Fort Dearborn conducted a rifle volley and Taps. Army personnel presented the Brosko family with the folded American Flag, and the Patriot Guard Riders presented a memorial plaque.
