On Monday, March 23, 2026, during the day, the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) and/or the DMVA will be announcing a one-time grant program for Post homes. This is a big opportunity — grants of up to $300,000 will be available to support post-repair and improvement. Here's what we know so far: Applications go live: Tuesday, March 24, 2026 Deadline to apply: April 24, 2026 Awards expected: May 2026 These grants are primarily for Post repairs, and you will likely need a bid from a licensed contractor as part of the application. Full details will be released on March 23, so stay tuned and be ready to move quickly once applications open.
